Company's senior management provides a strong and visible leadership to promote a culture in which all employees share a commitment to HSE. In addition to personally participating in HSE activities viz. training, HSE workshops, HSE incentive schemes, conferences, audits etc., the senior management set personal examples in their day-to-day work by:

  • Putting HSE matters high on the agenda of meetings and regularly attending and chairing HSE meetings.
  • Participating in review of performance against all.HSE Plans and targets.
  • Providing immediate and visible involvement in the investigation of incidents.
  • Recognizing and rewarding achievements.
  • Allocating adequate and appropriate resources and expertise to meet HSE targets. (eg. Finance, manpower, skills and training.)
  • Conducting workplace audits and inspections.
  • Empowering all to stop unsafe work.
  • To develop a change in attitude, behavior and culture among the employees.
  • To create an awareness in the individual the need for his safety and the value of his life for his family.

Al Watanyiah gives paramount importance to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) so as to keep our employees and workplace safe as well as to strive to achieve world class standards in HSE. Keeping this in mind, Al Watanyiah has executed a number of projects in different sectors without any lost time incidents (LTIs). Monthly senior management is conducting meeting for reviewing and improving the HSE performance of our company.

Al Watanyiah has been awarded for its effective HSE Management System, HSE-MS Certificate by OPAL (Oman Society for Petroleum Services), and the apex facilitating body that strives to make Oman's Industry world class.

Health and safety policy statement
